The Zionist Youth Council of Detroit held a Chanukah torchlight parade here last night, believed here to be the first of its kind in this country. Taking part in the event were Habonim, Hashomer Hatzair, Mizrachi Hatzair, the Student Zionist Organization and other groups. Following the parade, a ten-foot high menorah was lit on the grounds of the Detroit Jewish Center and a special Chanukah program was held inside the building.
