Police said the demonstrators threw stones at officers, damaged property, attempted to block roads and disturbed public order. The protesters also carried Palestinian flags.
Organizers of the weekly protests against Avichai Mandelblitt calling on him to prosecute Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for corruption distanced themselves from the incident, saying it was not part of the official protest.
