Thank you, Doug Chandler, for doing a nice reporting job on the April 25 rally [opposing the Obama administration’s position on Israel] (“Rally Here Slams Obama, Jewish Democrats,” April 30). I may want to subscribe to The Jewish Week again.
I do agree with Beth Gilinsky, however, that there were many Jewish Democrat speakers and attendees. I was at the rally and was interviewed by a reporter from The New York Times, as was a Jewish immigrant from the former Soviet Union standing next to me. As far as I know nothing appeared in The Times about the protest at all. I suppose they thought this occasion did not merit mention and did not fit into their motto of “All the news that’s fit to print.”
