Upset With BJ Rabbis

Regarding the article “Was ‘A Great Moment’ Too Alienating” (Dec. 7) and the B’nai Jeshurun rabbis’ support for the UN vote, we don’t need Jews like that, and they claim to be rabbis yet.

I approve of Rabbi Ammiel Hirsh’s critically disapproving opinion of the BJ rabbis’ maudlin, anti-Israel and disloyal e-mail to their congregants (“Liberal Rabbi: BJ Colleagues Gave The Wrong Message,” Opinion, Dec. 7).

The common thread here is that it has become fashionable for leftist Jews to be anti-Israel, even pro-Palestinian. I’m a New York Jew, no Zionist, but at least I don’t root for the wrong side.
