During the year, the Jewish Community Project Downtown, a family-oriented educational organization in Tribeca that serves Jewish families who live in Lower Manhattan, sponsors a series of classes and seminars, and a Hebrew School Project.
To get ready for Passover, JCP Downtown offered some music and a chance to see matzah being made. Accompanied by their parents, the JCP’s kids went on a tour of the Streit’s Matzo Factory on the Lower East Side, and sang along to the holiday melodies of Jacob Stein.
