The Rolling Stones are in negotiations to play their first-ever concert in Israel, according to the Jewish Chronicle.
Promoters Marcel Avraham and Gad Oronto have offered the band £4.5 million (that’s $7.4 million) to play an open-air concert at Park Hayarkon in June, the newspaper said.
Last month, the band’s bass player Darryl Jones visited Israel and performed with the Australian group Dead Daisies, at a sold-out show at the Barby Club in Tel Aviv, according to the Chronicle.
