Opposes Iran Deal On Nukes

What possesses President Obama to be driven to conclude a nuclear agreement with the Iranian regime — even if it is weak, problematic, and flawed, which strongly favors Iran? (“On Iran, ‘No Deal’ On Nukes Looking Better,” Editorial, Oct. 24)

Obama is so hell-bent in his motivation here — he even wants to bypass the United States Senate on its legal ratification duty, defining the outcome as an “informal” agreement, even though it presents a grave threat to world peace, and to the survival of Israel.

As your Editorial points out, the Iranian regime has not fulfilled any of its compliance commitments as part of this negotiating process. President Obama has not demanded that Iran’s supreme leader, Ali Khamenei, reject the declarations he has previously made that he is opposed to these nuclear negotiations and how he will veto and overrule any agreement concluded.

Why does the president steadfastly fail to show respect to some 1 million Iranian-Americans including some 150,000 Persian Jews who are extraordinarily united on this issue?
