Regarding “New Tacks In Battling Israel’s Image Problem” (Editor’s column, Sept. 16), here’s an idea: engage Steven Spielberg to do an updated dramatic and factual remake of “Cast A Giant Shadow,” the story of Col. Mickey Marcus.
You have all the elements of a dramatic and true story of how an American West Point-decorated WWII officer became the first general of the IDF. Such a story, presented in the Spielberg style for an American audience will be more effective and reach more people than all of the “creative” marketing campaigns combined.
