Lucky Rabbi

No contract, and he is complaining when he gets the benefits of $700,000? (“Safra Shul Controversy Breaks Into Public View,” Jan. 6) And congregants don’t have dues. It sounds like the Safra Foundation should have control over the synagogue, and whom they wish to have as a leader.

If the rabbi is so grand, why has he not gone elsewhere rather than create a big scene? The foundation should be able to find a competent rabbi at half the price.
