It is not Ramah’s mission to engage in or even teach politics (“Pushing The ‘O’ Word Into The Ramah Lexicon,” March 30). Regarding Israel, Ramah’s mission would be to instill a love of Israel. Discussions should be about topics that bring us together, not political topics that pull us apart. Campers and staff may then go on an engage in politics. But one would hope with a love of Israel as a driving force.
