Sample some of the best kosher wines at The Jewish Week’s Grand Wine Tasting Sunday at the City Winery in Tribeca. Many of the wines from the paper’s Top 18 Kosher Wine Competition — in categories ranging from Under $25 to Over $50 to Israeli Reds and Whites — will be available for tasting. Free kosher food from Tribe Hummus, Wolf and Lamb and Tnuva will also be available.
The event, co-sponsored by The Jewish Week, City Winery and the Israel Ministry of Tourism, takes place on Sunday, March 27, 2-5 p.m. at City Winery, 155 Varick St. $40, $35 in advance at www.citywinery.com/events/144895. City Winery is a wine bar, restaurant, interactive event space and winemaking facility that produces more than 250 barrels of wine a year, more than 35 of them kosher.
