Blind Liberal Thinking

In response to Edith Everett’s opinion piece, “Israel Isn’t The Only Issue In This Election” (Oct. 5): What’s good for America? Well, if Israel were not part of the calculation, former Gov. Mitt Romney would be 1,000 times better for the American economy and America as a whole. He is a businessman who knows how to get things done. As governor of a state led by Democrats, he was able to get things done. Unfortunately, President Barack Obama has not been able to work with the Republican Party. Even people from his side cannot work with him.

Everett reflects a time when the Democrats were more centrist. They have gone to the left and it is not the same party. If you discount Israel, you should still vote for Romney. Obama has proven in the past four years to be a complete bust.

That 64 percent of Jews would vote for him again [according to a recent poll] truly is astonishing. These Jews, if you can call them that, are truly blind in their liberal thinking.

When it comes to Israel, Obama has truly thrown Israel under the bus. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is not perfect, but for an American president to disrespect an ally like him is truly scary. Obama treats our enemies with more dignity. But no — American Jews do not care. Very sad.
