Michael Oren is one of the brilliant, outstanding Israeli diplomats of our time, and he tells it like it is (“Undiplomatic Talk From Michael Oren,” Editor’s column, Dec. 12).
There is no “solution” with the Palestinians — only “managing the situation.” In other words, stop the fantasy of a two-state solution — for now. And “this administration has a worldview that is not in accord with any Israeli government.”
So why does our Jewish flagship newspaper continue to blame Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and pile onto Israel, which has become the world’s whipping boy?
