Whether you want to listen to Jewish music, join in Israeli dancing, shop for Jewish art, or simply spend a Sunday afternoon enveloped in Jewish culture, the 41st annual Westchester Jewish Music and Arts Festival, at the Kensico Dam Plaza in Valhalla, New York, is the place to be this Sunday.
“The Jewish people celebrate our history and heritage in many ways,” said Paul Warhit, president of the Westchester Jewish Council. “Besides prayer, study, and food, music has always played a prominent part in defining who we are as a people. The annual Westchester Jewish Music & Arts Festival is a fabulous opportunity for Jews and non-Jews alike to celebrate, sing and dance as a community. I look forward to it every year.”
Among the performers will be the Nafshenu Orchestra, children’s entertainer Bobby Doowah, the Westchester Klezmer Program Band and Cantor Randy Herman with members of Kol Hazzanim, and WELT, a French-Jewish music group.
