Don’t Blame Trump

Staff writer Stuart Ain reported how a kindergarten student said that Trump was going to kill an African-American teacher (“Rash Of Hate Seen Tied To Trump Victory,” Nov. 18).

Where did the student get that idea? Did Trump ever make racist statements about blacks? No, Trump said he was going to help bring prosperity to blacks in the inner city. It was Trump’s opponents who painted him as a racist.

Why is Trump’s appointee Steve Bannon seen as anti-Semitic? He’s a Zionist who assigned reporter Aaron Klein to expose anti-Semitism on American campuses. Bannon is seen as anti-Semitic because opponents of Trump, including Jonathan Greenblatt of the Anti-Defamation League, want us to think he is. This is about attacking Trump and it could backfire in a big way.

Jews and Israel have a friend in Trump. Let’s keep it that way.
