The fact that it has taken so long for President Donald Trump to make a forceful statement against anti-Semitism speaks volumes about his lack of sincerity. But more importantly, his statement proposed no concrete actions either on the part of the Justice Department or other government agencies and we have yet to hear him disavow the support of any among his followers who are anti-Semites.
This is just a pro forma attempt to put the issue aside.
