Notwithstanding the characteristically artful but in this case regrettably casuistic writing in “Is Your Rabbinate Priestly Or Prophetic?” (March 24), the Jewish imperative in the age of Trump is clear. It is,
appropriately for Passover, to ask the right question — namely, can an authentic, ethical Jew support or vote for any candidate or politician who wants to eliminate Meals on Wheels?
And to know the right answer: No.
