Gary Rosenblatt asks the question about whether we can support Israel and not support Trump. (“How Trump Divides Us, And Lessons From ’67,” May 26).
I fail to see what one has to do with the other. Supporting or opposing an American administration should have nothing to do with supporting Israel’s right to exist as a free and democratic Jewish state. As such, whether Israel has a right-wing or left-wing prime minister, in the words of [radio host] Dennis Prager speaking to the Israel America Council, “I support Israel’s right to exist no matter who the Israeli public chooses as prime minister.”
