Re Gary Rosenblatt’s column, “How Trump Divides Us, And Lessons From ’67” (May 26): What does that mean: “opposing Trump?” He’s the president of the United States — you don’t have to like it (or him), but it’s infantile to keep blathering about “opposing” or “resisting” him.
If you decide to reject representative democracy when your party loses, then you can try living with another form of government in any one of the more than 100 non-democratic countries on earth. This bizarre behavior of people like Rosenblatt will do far more long-lasting damage to the country than any president could possibly do.
