In Appreciation Of Polner Eulogy

Gary Rosenblatt’s appreciation/eulogy of Murray Polner was most appropriate (“A Feisty, Brilliant Editor,” June 7).

Among the many books Mr. Polner wrote was “Rabbi The American Experience,” which appeared in 1977. In the book, he describes, largely sympathetically, the work of a number of congregational rabbis of different denominations in different parts of the country.

By good fortune, I was the subject of one of the chapters — “Radical? No, Only a Conservative.”

May his memory bring blessing to all of us.
