JERUSALEM, Jan. 14 (JTA) — A strong earthquake whose epicenter was near Cyprus was felt this week along the coast of Israel from Nahariya in the north to Ashkelon in the south. No damages or injuries were reported from Monday’s quake, which measured 6.2 on the Richter scale. Tremors were also felt in Egypt, Lebanon and Jordan.
