NEW YORK, Jan. 23 (JTA) — Israeli researchers have
produced a new medication to treat psoriasis, Israeli media reported.
The medication contains some synthetic materials that have been effective against psoriasis cells as
well as some cancer cells. The compound, developed by Hebrew University and Hadassah Medical Center scientists, has been submitted to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration before being tested on humans. The medication does not yet have a patent.
