Egypt foiled a Palestinian plot to attack Israelis at a Sinai resort. Egyptian police announced Wednesday that they had arrested a Palestinian who infiltrated from the neighboring Gaza Strip carrying a bomb belt. Under interrogation, the Palestinian said he had planned to blow himself up at a Red Sea resort favored by Israelis, according to police. Two other Palestinians suspected of involvement in the plot also were detained.
