French police found a body believed to be that of a missing Israeli official. Police officials said Wednesday that the corpse discovered in the Seine River near Rouen was wearing the same clothes as David Dahan, an Israeli defense official who went missing from his Paris home last month. Dahan’s car was found in Rouen soon after his disappearance. Police sources had previously said a letter left by Dahan at home suggested he was depressed and may have committed suicide. An autopsy was ordered on the body to determine its identity.
