The Israeli Consulate and The America-Israel Friendship League presented a southern Israeli city battered by terrorist rockets with 4,000 children’s books.In a ceremony last Friday at the Israeli Consulate in New York, Israeli envoy Arye Mekel presented Sderot Mayor Eli Moyal with the English-language books, representing the some 4,000 Palestinian terrorist rockets that have hit the city in recent years.The children of Sderot “have been living with unrelenting attacks since April of 2001,” Moyal said. “One hundred percent of the children in Sderot are suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder.”
