The president of CLAL-The National Jewish Center for Learning and Leadership received a Books for a Better Life award. Rabbi Irwin Kula was recognized in the Spiritual category for “Yearnings: Embracing the Sacred Messiness of Life” at a ceremony last month in New York City, CLAL said in a statement. The awards are given out by the National Multiple Sclerosis Society’s New York Chapter.
