France’s prime minister will present a new Mideast peace
initiative to the United Nations.Dominique de Villepin, in the United States on
a two-day visit, will deliver a speech Thursday explaining his view of “international disorder,” a source within his office said, and will offer “a road
map out” of Middle East conflict. De Villepin will meet Thursday with U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon
before continuing to Boston to participate in a Harvard University
conference on French-American relations.
