An Israeli Air Force cadet safely bailed out of a crippled aircraft.Thursday’s incident apparently resulted from a malfunction in an A-4 Skyhawk as it was taking part in a training exercise over the Mediterranean Sea. While the plane was lost, its pilot was recovered alive, though hospital treatment was required. The Air Force is investigating.
