An American-born West Bank settler received prison time for arms smuggling. Haifa District Court on Wednesday sentenced Jeffrey Seth to two and a half years behind bars after he was convicted of trying to illegally import munitions in shipping container after he immigrated Israel last year. Seth, a resident of the settlement of Tapuach, hinted in a media interview given after he was charged that he might have used the weapons in retaliation for Palestinian terrorism. It was not immediately clear if Seth would appeal the sentence.
