Rep. Steny Hoyer (D-Md.), the majority leader in the U.S. House of Representatives, is leading a group of freshman Democratic lawmakers on a tour of Israel.
The group of 18 members of the House, including 13 freshmen, is leaving on Aug. 11 and will meet with top Israeli political and military leaders.
Hoyer has led over a dozen such tours.
