An Israeli and a Palestinian student will tour Washington DC-area campuses to promote a group pressing their leaders for peace.
Shadha Musallam, an environmental studies graduate who was raised in Jericho, and Yaniv Rivlin, studying political science at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, will start their tour on Tuesday.
They belong to OneVoice, which describes itself as a “a youth-led, grassroots movement that is working to organize and motivate the moderate majority of Palestinians and Israelis to pressure Israeli Prime Minster Olmert and Palestinian President Abbas to come to a two-state solution.” The movement was founded by Daniel Lubetzky, a Mexican Jewish entrepreneur.
