Demonstrators protested outside a Glasgow fund-raising dinner for the Jewish National Fund.
About 150 pro-Palestinian demonstrators heckled Hollywood actress Goldie Hawn, the dinner’s featured speaker, as she arrived at the event Sunday night. Some 500 guests attended the dinner organized by Keren Kayemeth LeIsrael Scotland.
The protest was organized by the Palestine Solidarity Campaign, which objects to the JNF’s policy of renting Israeli land that it owns to Jews only.
Hawn was standing in for actor Michael Douglas, who canceled his appearance last month, citing the strike by Hollywood writers as his reason.
