Israel reopened crossings into the Gaza Strip.

Trucks carrying food, school supplies, fuel and livestock were set to cross into Gaza on Friday, Israeli officials said.

Israel shut down the crossings on Wednesday after a rocket attack.

A ceasefire launched in June between Israel and Gaza’s Hamas rulers remains fragile. Under its terms, rocket fire is to end and Israel is to ease its blockade.
