Gaza is a “concentration camp” and “a humanitarian crisis on the scale of Darfur,” a relative of Tony Blair said.

Lauren Booth, sister-in-law of the former British prime minister and current Quartet Middle East envoy, has been in Gaza since arriving Aug. 23 on a boat full of left-wing activists protesting the blockade of the strip that has been run by the terrorist group Hamas for the last two years.

Booth was interviewed on the London-based Press TV, an Iranian English-language station, on Sept. 12 from Gaza, where she has been stuck after being unable to get permission from either Egypt or Israel to leave through border crossings on land.

A few days before the interview, the French press agency released a picture of Booth shopping in a well-stocked grocery store in Gaza, the Jerusalem Post reported, belying the grim picture she painted of the Palestinian enclave.

The Free Gaza movement is planning to return by boat to Gaza next week.
