Ehud Olmert will visit Russia for two days early next month.
The Israeli prime minister will discuss regional issues Oct. 6 and 7 at the invitation of Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, according to the Prime Minister’s Office.
Olmert originally was scheduled to visit Moscow in early October, a visit that was postponed after he announced earlier this month that he would step down as prime minister.
Olmert is scheduled to discuss Iran’s nuclear ambitions and Russia’s plans to provide advanced missiles to Syria.
