Matt Brooks of the Republican Jewish Coalition, meantime, was in a Minnesota hotel suite with Sen. Norm Coleman (R-Minn.), watching returns trickle in in a very, very tight race. Coleman is trying to salvage his Senate seat, facing comedian Al Franken in one of several Jew-on-Jew races this evening.
Brooks, a trooper, has been in Coen Bros country for days helping Coleman out.
