WASHINGTON (JTA) — Drug enforcement cooperation between the United States and Israel is "outstanding," a U.S. State Department report said.
"Cooperation between Israeli and U.S. institutions dealing with illicit drugs is excellent," said the International Narcotics Control Strategy Report, published Feb. 27 by the State Department.
The Drug Enforcement Administration Country Office in Nicosia, Cyprus, and Israeli officials "characterize their cooperation as outstanding," the report said. "There is a monthly bilateral exchange on major drug seizures in both countries."
