JERUSALEM (JTA) — A large majority of Israelis support Benjamin Netanyahu’s recent policy address, a poll found.
Some 71 percent of Israelis surveyed believe that the prime minister said the right things Sunday at Bar-Ilan University and that the speech will benefit Israel internationally, according to a Ha’aretz-Dialog poll conducted Monday.
The poll also found that 90 percent of voters for Netanyahu’s Likud Party agreed with what the prime minister said, according to the daily Ha’aretz. In addition, some 49 percent of opposition Kadima Party members believe the party should join the coalition government based on the speech.
