JERUSALEM (JTA) — The Israeli military will give more detailed warnings to Palestinians before launching future airstrikes.
The more accurate warnings, including information on attack timetables and escape routes, will help residents of the area slated for aerial attack to flee, Ynet reported.
The plan was formulated during recent hearings on the Operation Cast Lead military operation in Gaza, according to Ynet.
During the operation in Gaza, more than 200,000 phone calls were made to Palestinian homes in Gaza and thousands of fliers were air dropped to warn Palestinian civilians of Israeli airstrikes.
