JERUSALEM (JTA) — A high-profile delegation of East African leaders is visiting Israel.
The officials from Rwanda and Uganda will meet with Israeli lawmakers, NGO directors, government officials, academics and leaders of industry as part of the five-day Project Interchange seminar that began Sunday.
The seminar also will address opportunities in bilateral trade, development and medicine.
Project Interchange is an institute of the American Jewish Committee.
