JERUSALEM (JTA) — Saudi Arabia denied a British newspaper’s report saying the country would allow Israel to use its airspace to attack Iranian nuclear facilities.
The Sunday Express reported this week that Britain’s intelligence chief had been told during a meeting with Saudi and Israeli Mossad officials that Saudi Arabia is ready to allow Israel to bomb Iran’s new nuclear site.
A senior Saudi official said Wednesday that the report was false, according to reports citing the Saudi Press Agency, and that Saudi Arabia would demand a retraction.
