JERUSALEM (JTA) — Five Israelis died with the swine flu over the weekend.
The deaths bring to 60 the number of Israelis who have died with the H1N1 virus, the Health Ministry reported.
Four of the dead, aged 50 to 79, had chronic illnesses. The fifth was a homeless man who was found unconscious and died after being taken to a hospital.
Some 11,000 Israelis have been vaccinated against the virus, according to reports.
