Israeli woman injured in firebombing

JERUSALEM (JTA) — Palestinian attackers threw a firebomb at an Israeli bus near Hebron, wounding an Israeli teenager on Sunday.

The woman, 18, suffered second-degree burns in the attack. The bus was also damaged. It was the second attack on Israelis on West Bank roads in less than a week.

On Dec. 24, Palestinian attackers shot and killed a 45-year-old father of seven as he drove near the northern West Bank Jewish community of Shavei Shomron.

Roadblocks on the road on which the bus was attacked were recently lifted to allow more ease of movement for Palestinians.

Earlier Sunday, three Israeli cars were damaged when Palestinians threw stones on roads near Bethlehem, Gush Etzion and Nablus.
