JERUSALEM (JTA) — Two African migrants were killed by Egyptian border police as they tried to infiltrate Israel.
An Eritrean man, 26, was killed Thursday morning and a 27-year-old migrant was killed late Wednesday night. A 20-year-old Eritrean was injured.
The deaths bring to five the number of African migrants killed at the Egyptian border in the last month, Reuters reported.
Egypt has cracked down on migrants infiltrating Israel from its territory following Israeli complaints.
