JERUSALEM (JTA) — Israel’s Air Force struck what the military is describing as two "terror-linked" sites in southern Gaza in response to rocket fire on Israel.

The Saturday night airstrikes reportedly included an abandoned olive farm near Khan Younis and a Hamas smuggling tunnel to Egypt.

No injuries or casualties were reported.

The strikes were in response to a Kassam rocket fired on southern Israel from Gaza earlier in the day.

Since the beginning of the year, about 180 Grad missiles, Kassam rockets and mortar shells fired from the Gaza Strip have landed in Israeli territory, according to Israel’s military.
