(JTA) — Members of the Los Angeles Police Department bomb squad will train in Israel with their counterparts.
The four technicians are heading to Israel in May to train with the Israeli National Police Bomb Squad, according to the Los Angeles Jewish Journal.
Chuck Boxenbaum, a past chairman of The Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles, donated funds to the Los Angeles Police Foundation, an organization that provides resources for the LAPD that it does not get from the city, to be used for the trip.
