Jonathan Mark’s column on the mayor of Itamar (“Twin Peaks,” The Edge, April 1), especially in the last few paragraphs, managed to bring me to tears, as do most of his articles.
In my estimation, that’s what art — in this case, the art of writing — is supposed to do. So thank you.
