He killed Nazis (or Nazees, according to Brad Pitt), temped at Dunder Mifflin, and now B.J. Novak is joining Sacha Baron Cohen(Borat) in his new movie “The Dictator.”
Novak, better known as Ryan Howard of NBC’s The Office (a show he also co-writes and directs), is going to leave the flashy paper business behind and join other stars like Ben Kingsley, Anna Faris, Megan Fox and John C. Reilly in the film about a foreign dictator (Baron Cohen) who “risks his life to ensure that democracy would never come to the country he so lovingly oppressed” and gets lost in the U.S. (er, and) A. Wait, really? Another Sacha Baron Cohen foreigner-with-accent-shenanigans-in-America flick? Yikes. I mean, Borat was funny but Bruno totally bombed, so why try again? Hasn’t Back to the Future III taught us anything?! Well, maybe now that Novak is a part of it, there’s still hope that it will look like this, and not like that.
