JERUSALEM (JTA) — Nefesh B’Nefesh marked the 10th anniversary celebration of the founding of the group, which facilitates aliyah, with a planeload of new immigrants to Israel.
The group of 229 new immigrants arrived in Israel on July 11 under the auspices of Nefesh B’Nefesh, in cooperation with the Ministry of Immigrant Absorption, the Jewish Agency for Israel and Keren Kayemeth LeIsrael.
More than 2,500 olim from North America and the United Kingdom are scheduled to arrive in Israel this summer under the auspices of Nefesh B’Nefesh and its associate organizations.
