Francine Klagsbrun’s well-taken “Thinking Aloud” column on the absence of a moment of Olympic silence for the 1972 victims (“Post-Munich, Israel’s Response To The ’72 Massacre,” Aug. 10) missed one strong point: NBC broadcaster Bob Costas recognized the International Olympic Committee’s cringing behavior and courageously created his own moment of silence on NBC’s opening ceremony. Costas should be lauded.
